Outfit References in SMO + I want *SPOILERS*

UPDATE 2: Pause at [link] 3:50 you will see this outfit which also makes a cameo in Mario Kart 8/Deluxe on a billboard as well!
I didn't notice this myself, but Mario's magician outfit from Super Mario All Stars is added 
Now he is completely wearing a suit rather than his overalls showing. The wedding outfit is pretty much the white counterpart to that outfit.

UPDATE 3: Mario is seen wearing the Samurai Outfit in the game, So the Samurai Mario Shirt that Miyamoto was wearing on Jimmy Fallon's Switch Debut was for this game. Additionally an Astronaut Suit was also shown but a different design then the one from Super Mario Land 2. But the video that I found that suit was taken down by Nintendo but I promise they added that suit in the game.

UPDATE 4: Well I am disappointed that they didn't put in the Metal Mario outfit, though we did get a Gold Mario outfit, if you buy the outfit or scan the Gold Mario amiibo. Though they should of added it jsut by simply recoloring the texture and made it so if you scan the Silver Mario amiibo or buy it the outfit. You can either get the Metal or Silver Mario outfit. I like gold way more anyways so i should be happy. But i miss using Metal Mario as a power up and it seemed like a miss opportunity to not include it with the hats theme even if it had no abilities. Hoping for DLC...not a big loss it's strangely not in.

FINAL UPDATE: I was wrong and kinda jumped to conclusion too soon, but Metal Mario is an outfit however it uses the same model shape as the SM64 Costume. Unlike Gold Mario, Additionally SM64 Mario is actually a costume in the game as well, meaning SM64 Mario is a model change in the game! Also here are all the costumes

Some of you may think these outfits are all new but that is not true though some are brand new as well here is a video by Nintendo Life of what the costumes they reference. This also includes the possessing on the enemies. The clothing and enemy possessing maybe the power ups of this game While there are no traditional power ups and no 1-Up Mushrooms (Yes this means no lives in this game but we lose 10 coins instead however not sure about game overs though). The closest traditional power ups we have are Life-Up Hearts just like in Super Mario Galaxy's Life Mushrooms they give you the max of 6 Health and when you lose 3 health from that it resets to 3 health again. Come to think of it this is the first Mario game that has no Mushroom item appearing
There maybe no Fire Flowers but you can control Fire Bros and use there abilities that works like a Fire Flower so let's just call it a "new Fire Flower" . You know what we saw for the first time? What Hammer Bros Species full heads look (Fire bros have iery har color and Hammer (Or Frying Bros in my case) Bros have like so it appears they have hair just like Chargin' Chucks. Now it makes me wonder what Magikoopas hair looks like? Also one thing I thought of would Mario be able to posses a Boo? But I don't think so but if he did it would certainly be Boo Mario (So far i haven't seen any boos in this game at all)
I also predicted that the main collectibles would be Moons and i was right on the spot on that one!

Metal Mario [✔]: Yes I know it's more of a power up but I do want the power up to return in a main Mario game and since this game is the return of the sandbox 3D Super Mario series since Super Mario Sunshine and starting with Super Mario 64. it could fit to be a costume at the closest to use both a Hat and outfit since your sorta wearing it not to mention this games theme involves Hats. It can help you go through underwater areas and you need to breath from going underwater with it on for a very long time and protect your self from other hazards that you wouldn't be able to go well with in normal state. Vanish is just transparent and Wings only changes on the cap only so they would be pointless and not work well. All costumes need both clothing and hats normally. If Metal Mario has the cap only nothing much works but if he puts on the armor only it would work. www.mariowiki.com/images/5/5a/…
